DRR’s November Message

Greetings, fellow Rotaractors of District 9213!

November is a special month in our Rotary calendar. It is designated as Rotary Foundation month, a time for us to reflect on the incredible impact we can have when we combine our resources and passions to make the world a better place.

The Rotary Foundation is the engine behind Rotary’s efforts to achieve world understanding and peace through local and international humanitarian projects. From eradicating polio to promoting peace, the Foundation transforms our contributions into tangible good worldwide.

Our District Goal: $30,000 to the Foundation This year, as a vibrant and ambitious district, we set ourselves an bold goal: to contribute $30,000 to The Rotary Foundation. This is a significant undertaking, but one that is entirely within our reach if we work together.

As we move through November, I urge all of us to double our efforts to contribute and support the achievement of this goal. Every dollar we raise comes back to our district in the form of District Designated Funds (DDF) to support the projects we care about most.

The Power of Giving to the Foundation is incredibly easy, and I want to emphasize that every amount is welcome. No contribution is too small. Whether it’s $5, $10, or a larger gift, your contribution, combined with those of others across our district, creates a wave of positive change.

The benefits of giving are immense: Transforming Lives: Your contribution helps fund projects that provide clean water, promote education, and fight disease globally.

Building Your Legacy: You are investing in a future where communities are stronger and more resilient. Leveraging Your Impact: Rotary uses a powerful matching system that can turn a $100 donation into $500 worth of project funding.

Let’s embrace the spirit of this month and reach into our pockets to support the Foundation that

supports our work. Giving is simple: you can reach out to your club foundation chair or visit the Rotary International website directly.

Welcoming Back Rotaract Earth Initiative Kenya on a different but equally important note, I would like to extend a warm welcome back to the dedicated team from the Rotaract Earth Initiative Kenya. Your commitment to environmental stewardship is inspiring.

I also want to personally thank you for leading by example by paying up for the 101st District Conference. Your promptness and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work; your efforts are making a real difference in our district and beyond!

Let’s make November a month of extraordinary giving and fellowship.

Yours in Rotaract Service
