DRR’s Newsletter (September 2022)

Dearest reader,

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family”.
– Kofi Annan

One of the world’s greatest gifts is that every person is unique. We all possess different gifts, beliefs and strengths even more beautiful is that we are privileged enough that in our life’s journey our paths get to cross.

Learning in itself isn’t limited to classroom knowledge day by day we get to learn from one another or from the different literature we choose to interact with. Therefore, as we celebrate our basic education and literacy month may we reminded that “an investment in knowledge pays the best interest” Benjamin Franklin.
This issue, we bring you amazing discussions on work ethic, expression of emotions in public spaces, and a review on the Rotary Positive Peace Activator Program – East Africa Cohort. This has also been a month of Celebration as Rotary Uganda hosted RI President Jennipher Jones. Her visit is one that you ought not to be just be told about but read about. Finally, do you recall your first Cancer Run experience???

This issue is jam packed with lots of mind triggering discussions and inspiring stories.

I hope you are as inspired as much as I was. Enjoy
