Young Leaders, Real Impact

Rotaract District 9213 is a Rotary program that brings together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with community leaders, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. Formerly part of District 9211, it represents 114 Rotaract clubs in Uganda across the Northern, Eastern, mid-Western and part of the Central regions.

You can join by finding a club near you using our Club Finder, then attending a meeting as a visitor. Membership is open to anyone aged 18–30. Your club will guide you through the induction process, and annual dues are kept affordable for students and young professionals.

To charter a new club you need a minimum of 20 prospective members, a sponsoring Rotary club, and to complete the official charter application. Contact the District Secretariat and we will walk you through the entire process — typically 3–6 months from application to charter.

RYLA — Rotary Youth Leadership Awards — is an intensive leadership training programme for young people aged 18–30. District 9213 runs an annual RYLA camp bringing together 100+ participants for workshops, mentoring, community projects and networking with Rotary leaders.

We welcome partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, corporates and international organisations. Partners can co-fund service projects, sponsor RYLA, provide mentors, or collaborate on community development initiatives. Contact our Partnerships Director to explore opportunities.
